Aisuluu Bedelbayeva is an independent consultant with more than 13 years of experience in international development. In her various roles as a development professional, she focused on such areas as project design, project management, public policy, capacity building and communications.
With a passion for establishing educational equity around the world, Ms. Bedelbayeva currently works as an international education consultant in Africa for the World Bank. In this role, she supports client countries in their efforts to increase education access and quality of education, thus contributing to the improved learning outcomes and economic growth.
Prior to her consulting career, she spent five years working as an education specialist for the World Bank in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and held various positions in institutions such as the International Finance Corporation, the Open Society Institute/Soros Foundation and the American Council for International Education.
Ms. Bedelbayeva was educated in Kyrgyzstan and the United States: she holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s of science in education leadership.
