Lela Machaidze is Deputy Country Manager for Business Operations at CH2MHILL implementing Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) in Georgia with focus in strengthening diagnostic capabilities and capacities in public health, disease diagnostics and surveillance. She is co-founder of Green Build Ltd with focus on energy efficient construction materials. She worked at Bechtel National Inc. during implementation of Biological Treat Reduction Program (BTRP) in Georgia and KELLOG BROWN & ROOT (KBR) Inc. Government Operations - LOGCAP III Georgia during implementation of Train and Equip Program (GTEP) in Georgia.
Ms. Machaidze is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Georgia; she is certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from European School of Management; she is a graduate of the Central Eurasia Leadership Academy (CELA -10). She is member of Wine Club in Georgia; she also is a project management trainer at Brisk Business Inc., head quarter in New York, USA and Management Academy, Tbilisi, Georgia. She also has consulting experience under the Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG) for implementation of the USAID-funded project in assisting the National Agency of State Property (NASP) under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia in identification of the capacity gaps. In addition, she as selected and approved authorization expert for the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) which operates under the Ministry of Education of Georgia have participated in Authorization visit and audit of high education institutions in Georgia.
Ms. Machaidze enjoys cooking, swimming, hiking, beading, travelling and meeting new people. She has one son, Dachi, Affiliate Manager, and physics student at the Free University in Georgia.
