Adel is Vice Chairman of Nozom Group, consisting of companies specialized sheet metal production, heavy steel fabrication and machining of diversified metal products to support large industrial projects. Adel opened Nozom Group’s Jeddah office and successfully penetrated the Saudi market. He began with the Group’s Technological & Electrical Systems Co. as a production engineer in its metal fabrication factories. He rose to his present post via jobs as marketing manager and managing director. He spent two years as Administration Executive Manager at Bank Audi Egypt, where he oversaw an aggressive expansion plan to open 25 commercial branches in 18 months.
Adel holds a B.Sc. in construction engineering from the American University in Cairo. His second degree is an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
Nahla is passionate about building communities and cities the smart way, her work involves turning cities and governments needs to a Safe Sustainable Smart Cities. Currently she is working as a Presales Consultant to one of the biggest Esri and Microsoft partners "Softec International" with regional and global presence. Her focus is Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She works on providing nationwide solutions and e-gov services; with almost 10 years of experience in various regional industries. Nahla experience started in Esri Northeast Africa including business analysis, marketing, presales and business development activities.
Nahla holds a B.Sc. in Architecture and a Diploma in GIS combined with a variety of specialized courses to match the variation in her industry. As a passionate city and community builder, Nahla best time is spent with NGOs focusing on Cultural and Comunity development activities
Ahmed is employed as Industrial Telecom Engineer at Dolphin Energy Ltd in Abu Dhabi. He works for the projects under the company’s Corporate Automation Division, in close coordination with other departments. Earlier he worked as Strategic Planning Researcher for the MBA program at UAE University. In that capacity, he was evaluating the telecommunication firm Etisalat’s strategic planning process through meetings with its management, questionnaire surveys, and developing external and internal environmental scanning. For two years Ahmed was a Satellite Operation Engineer with Mubadala Development Company – Yahsat Company. However, he began his career as an officer in the UAE army. He was Head of Telecom System Operations, leading a team to achieve various telecommunication operation missions.
Ahmed holds a B.Sc. in communications engineering from the University of Kent, UK, as well as an International Business Management Certificate from the University of Washington Educational Outreach. He completed the MBA program at UAE University.
Noura is CEO and Chief Event Organizer of Yamaah, a company organizing business-cum-social gatherings to bring out the hidden potential of young Kuwaitis and a new business-oriented generation in the Middle East. Bringing select clients to unique international locations, Yamaah’s most recent event was held in February 2012 on Samui Island, Thailand. Yamaah’s inaugural event was focused on young, talented Kuwaiti entrepreneurs. Yamaah ensures that participants not only exchange business cards but have the chance also to cement a business relationship with a soul in it. A lawyer by training, Noura also serves as an attorney with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
Noura gained her Bachelor’s degree in law from Kuwait University. She has pursued a Master’s degree in public law from the same institution.
Alaa is Quality Assurance officer at Bisan Systems, a firm producing financial management applications, working between Jerusalem and Ramallah. Alaa creates test cases for accounting systems and scripts them. He co-founded his own company, ndproductions, in 2010. It has designed and developed the website/ interface of companies in Jerusalem including a hotel and a restaurant. He is the founder and developer of the start-up Ichangelap, an online interactive electronic lab for innovation and solving problems in developing cities. He is also the creator of solid games for the iPhone OS.
Alaa obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer science from Birzeit University.
Pierre is Managing Partner of Tourtwist, a pioneering tourism social network that hooks up tourists with local guides in rural areas, thus affording visitors a customized authentic experience while contributing to the socioeconomic development of rural areas. He created the company after it won the Maurice Fadel Prize for best business plan. To launch his career as an entrepreneur, he resigned his post at British American Tobacco, where he worked as Channels Development Manager for the Levant, Yemen and Iraq markets. He completed BAT’s 2-year Global Management Trainee program encompassing all aspects of sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain functions, with four-month assignments in all six GCC countries.
Pierre holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Masters in Marketing, both from the Université Saint-Joseph in Lebanon. He is the co-founder of Craft – an award-winning, nationwide paper-recycling project – and Mimix, a start-up that created a prototype technology translating speech and text into sign language. He is a member of many regional and global youth leaders and think-tank networks, including the International Youth Foundation, the Middle East Partnership Initiative, Mensa, and Young Arab Leaders.
Ali Fadhlani is currently the Head of Business Excellence Department at twofour54, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi.
Prior to this job, he was the head of Organization Excellence Department at Securities and Commodities Authority, UAE, Manager Business Excellence at Jumeirah Group and Manager Business Excellence at Dubai Holding Group and vice manager customer service at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority
He established a consulting firm in 2008 called Excellence Ship specializing in the field of Quality and Excellence management with a strong focus on organizing benchmarking activities both inside UAE and abroad. In 2012 the firm became European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Partner and youngest UAE national certified trainer. The firm client portfolio includes many very well reputed organization such as Etihad Rail, Cofly BK, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, twofour54, Dubai Quality Group, Ministry of civil services, Oman and BSI.
Mr. Fadhlani is very well known UAE national in the field of Quality & Excellence and participated as assessor in many prestigious awards including Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, Dubai Holding Excellence Award with European assessors; he is also Dubai Government Excellence Program certified expert and Jury member of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award.

Rada works as HR Planning and Development Manager at Umniah Mobile Company. She serves on the initiatives. Over six years at the company Rada rose to the position step-by-step through the Human Resources department; previously she was Umniah’s HR Development Supervisor in which capacity responsible for learning and development, performance and career. Before joining Umniah, she was employed in a similar capacity at Jordan Cement Factories (member of Lafarge Group). She has further experience as a coordinator of trainings and as an activities coordinator with the Friends of the Environment Society, an NGO specialized in ecological initiatives.
Rada holds a B.Sc in industrial engineering from the University of Jordan. Her higher education includes an Executive Masters in enterprise management from the University of Durham, and the Executive Diploma in Management (Level 7) from the Chartered Management Institute, U.K.
Ali serves as Marketing Director for Maani Ventures in Amman, focusing on regional markets in Saudi Arabia and Libya. He gained earlier trade marketing experience with LG/New Vision, the exclusive LG distributor in Jordan. He did two separate stints with Publicis Groupe Jordan, first as deputy general manager and later as strategic business developer; in the latter capacity he worked with advertising agencies, steering directors towards creative yet business-oriented concepts. At one point, Ali was the managing director of School of Audio Engineering Jordan, a college for creative media arts such as film making, 3D animation, and graphic design. Near the beginning of his career, he was a brand manager first for Unilever Mashreq in Alexandria and for British American Tobacco MedRed (i.e. Egypt, Libya and Sudan).
Ali studied at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, but his education was in the school of life as he is sure that most mainstream education has nothing to do with the real world. He is a devotee of full contact boxing and healthy cooking. He also used to be the front man for the Middle Eastern rock band DaVinCi, and performed in Egypt, Jordan and Dubai.
Reem is employed as HR Manager at Nuqul Automotive Company, handling all aspects of HR strategy including training and recruitment, performance appraisal, financial control, and quality management issues. For four years previously she was Volkswagen Sales Manager for Nuqul Automotive. There she covered both the sales activities in the showroom, following customer satisfaction regarding after-sales and spare parts, and devoted herself to supervising record accuracy while improving the overall performance of the department. Near the start of her career she worked as Sales Executive for Mercedes Benz, dealing all passenger-car fleet sales to the royal court, ministries, international companies and governments.
Reem earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Damascus, Syria. She has also studied advanced cookery.
Asma is Project Manager for Retail IT at ENOC in Dubai. She is responsible for planning, organizing and integrating cross-functional IT projects to deliver to customers, from coffee shops to vehicle repair systems. Before this, she was Assistant Manager for Retail Business Solutions. Asma worked for over three years at Shell Exploration & Production International Ltd (SEPIL). She began with the job of defining and monitoring standard processes of the Gulf Assist Desk. Subsequently she became Regional Production and Facilities Portfolio Consultant, managing relevant applications (such as license, compliance, and upgrade) for Middle East and Russia.
Asma graduated the College of Engineering at the University of Sharjah with a B.Sc. in computer engineering. Subsequently she joined the British University in Dubai to obtain a Master’s degree in informatics (knowledge and data management).
Rima’ is Director of Marketing and Communications at International Dairy and Juice. IDJ is a joint venture of PepsiCo and Almarai promoting fresh and healthy beverages. Rima’ created IDJ’s previously non-existent marketing department, launched new brands locally, and identified export potentials in the neighboring countries. Furthermore she has been responsible for consumer research, advertising and pricing. Her previous track record with leading food and beverage brands encompasses positions as Marketing Manager for Savola and for PepsiCo, where she dealt with 12 different brands including Aquafina water and Pepsi Max. She also has career experience in telecommunications with marketing positions at Info2Cell and Orange.
Rima’ earned a Bachelor’s degree in French literature from the University of Jordan. She followed up with a Business Diploma from the French Cultural Center in Amman, and an M.Sc. in marketing from Huddersfield University.
Asmaa is Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist at Ferdaws Foundation, the philanthropic arm of a number of major Egyptian corporations. She assesses their companies and makes recommendations on applying CSR principles to their business operations and social environments. Earlier she worked in private equity as a manager assistant for Actis. She is the founder of Egypt Gears, an NGO platform to bring together civil society, business, and government so they can employ shared resources more efficiently and accelerate development in Egypt. Currently she is building her own business called Developers Committee, matchmaking resources between communities for micro-projects such as paper recycling, greening rooftops, and healthy food delivery..
Asmaa holds a degree in business administration from 6 October University in Cairo. Presently she is working on an MBA in development via integration (CSR experience).
Saif is Finance Manager – North Oman at PDO. Previously he worked as the company’s Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance. Most of Saif’s professional life has been spent with PDO, including positions as Senior Project Accountant for the company’s north operations, and overseer of capital expenditure (Capex Lead) in the south. At an early point in his career, he worked for the company as a SAP & BW Business Analyst (Systems, Applications and Products/ Business Information Warehouse). He took off two years to work for Shell in Dubai as a Regional Reporting and Financial Planning Analyst.
Saif earned a B.Sc. in finance from the American University of Sharjah. He also passed the American CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level 1 examination. Born in Burundi, his first tongue is Swahili. He is a keen billiards player.
Dina works for the OIC where she is Professional Officer in the Muslim Minorities and Communities Department (under the aegis of the Political Department). Her job allows her to help Muslim minorities around the world, especially those in conflict areas. Her concentration has been on the Rohingya refugees of Myanmar (Burma), creating a unified organization to represent them. Earlier, as a consultant at Dar Al- Hekma College, she established and launched its Alumnae Association. Towards the beginning of her career Dina spent time in the business world. As International Officer for the advertising firm The Circle Integrated in Jeddah, she screened potential markets worldwide for company expansion. In Dubai, she marketed the luxury brand Kerastase (Hair Care) at L'Oreal Middle East to seven countries.
Dina has a B.Sc in management information systems from Dar Al-Hekma College. She gained a Training Certificate in International Relations and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. She is a long-time pianist and keen dancer (Salsa, Flamenco, Oriental, and others.)
Sami is Contact Center Lead at Avaya Emerging Markets, based in Dubai. Avaya is a multinational provider of unified communications and contact center solutions. Sami is a technical expert focused on sales; his job is to understand customer requirements and apply his business sense to design and deliver successful projects. Earlier he was Consulting Systems Engineer with the same company, a position where he gained much valuable experience through interacting with customers. His career with Avaya began in Amman as an account manager, but the move to Dubai allowed him to transition from being a technician to becoming a business professional. At an early stage in his career, he served as Technical Manager at the telecommunications company Artelco in Jordan.
Sami graduated from the University of Jordan in electrical engineering after studying at the Jubilee School in Amman. He has been active in the international Seeds of Peace program for young potential leaders (14 to 16 years old) from areas of conflict. Sami is very interested in photography and is also a dedicated Les Mills (group exercise) BodyCombat and BodyPump fitness instructor.
Elissar Hajj Zarwi is a seasoned Marketing & Communications professional with over 20 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Human Capital Development and Banking.
Starting January 2016, Elissar is taking the reins of Comma Hub as Partner and Managing Director. Comma Hub is a Communications and Marketing Hub that she founded in 2008, and that offers services ranging from consultancy to outsourcing marketing and communications strategies development and implementation plans for companies in the Middle East region.
Prior to that she occupied the position of Regional Brand & Communications Leader for Deloitte Middle East that she occupied since September 2013 to set the regional B&C strategies and plans to meet the Firm’s business objectives. She was overseeing internal and external integrated corporate communications, corporate responsibilities, media and public relations, branding, digital presence, events management and other related areas to support the geography, function and industry practices in the Middle East region, where Deloitte Middle East operates in 15 countries and 22 offices.
Before joining Deloitte, Elissar was Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications for Fransabank Group where she led the institutional rebranding and legacy positioning of the bank as it celebrated its 90th anniversary. Previously, Elissar served as Head of Group Marketing and Corporate Communications for Bank of Beirut. For over 11 years she was with Bank Audi, the largest banking group in the country, and among the top 5 Arab banking groups, where she worked in all facets of Marketing & Corporate Communications. The last position she held at Audi was being part of the CEO office, assigned - with a handpicked team - to undertake the business restructuring and reengineering at the Group level.
Holder of an MBA from the Lebanese American University (LAU) and a MA in Public Administration from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Elissar has a passion for lecturing at universities, coaching and mentoring youth. She is a visiting lecturer at the Lebanese American University, LAU and the Hariri Canadian University, teaching courses in business statistics, marketing, ethical risk management to SMEs, event planning and marketing, and consumer behavior. She is also a speaker at several Union of Arab Banks activities in the Arab World.
As a member of the MELA network, and Head of Lebanon Chapter, Elissar devotes quite a considerable personal time advocating and encouraging youth leadership in the region. Elissar is also an active member of the Lebanese American University Alumni Association – Beirut Chapter, serving a wider role of making an impact in the Lebanese educational system.
Tala is Manager of Business Transformation Projects at ENOC. The job requires diverse skills and roles as she must handle portfolio management, PMO, project management and internal consultancy. In one project, she developed a business model with supporting tools and templates for the entire marketing stream. Previously, she was as in ENOC’s Strategic Planning and Business Development Department, evaluating joint-venture and acquisition proposals of high investment values. She began at ENOC as Financial System Analyst. Before joining the company, she gained auditing experience at KPMG.
Tala obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business from Zayed University, Dubai. She followed up with the Cambridge International Higher Professional Diploma in Management, and is currently in the middle of a Master’s in international business from Heriot Watt University (Edinburgh/ Dubai). Among her passions are photography and design.
Falah is the Managing Partner of Tri Travel, a new destination management company that he started in 2010, aiming to raise the quality of tourist management and to provide a unique experience for guests to Oman. Before this, Falah was in charge of the evaluation committee of the Muscat Festival for three consecutive years. The annual Muscat Festival, a showcase of both Omani and international heritage and culture, is the largest such event in the country in numbers of visitors and capital invested. Falah is also a lecturer in the Department of Tourism, where he teaches tourism management courses and leads student activity groups.
Falah holds a BA in tourism management from Sultan Qaboos University. He followed up with an MA in international events management from the University of Brighton. One of his passions is the automobile industry.
Thamer is Regional Manager at Weqaya Insurance, where he handles all the sales, underwriting, claims and operations relating to the company’s Central region. His experience with the insurance world began at the Tawuniya Insurance company, where he rose to become the manager of all its sales offices and agents. Earlier, Thamer was Business Unit Supervisor for the healthcare firm Novo Nordisk, marketing the company’s products to the Saudi Ministry of Health. He started his career as a sales and marketing representative in different international and local medical and pharmaceutical firms (Merck Sharp & Dohme, Tabuk Pharma). An institutional sales executive, he was responsible for the sales in Riyadh’s Institution Hospitals.
Thamer graduated from King Saud University (College of Pharmacy) with a Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences. We went on to get an MBA in marketing from Newcastle University, Australia. His interests include traveling and barbequing..
Feras serves as Business Development Manager and Financial Manager at MESIS. He joined the organization in 2011 as part of a new management team tasked with restructuring its financial system, forming new partnerships, and rebranding the organization. Before this, he spent some seven years at the Economic Affairs Directorate (EAD) at the Royal Hashemite Court. When he began there as an Economic Researcher he was the youngest employee at the Office of HM the King. He was later promoted to Policy Analyst, requiring him to work with state entities, international agencies, NGOs, donors and the private sector. At the start of his career he worked with the Inspection and Surveillance Department of the Amman Stock Exchange.
Feras took his first degree in economics (Banking and Finance program) from Yarmouk University Business School. He gained an MBA from the University of Exeter. He is an active member in the Jordanian branches of the British University Alumni Association and the University of Exeter Alumni Group.
Waleed is a Senior Petrophysicist with Petroleum Development Oman. His ten years of experience have encompassed planning, exploration, operations and production. At the PDO Study Center, he currently is working on one of the multibillion sour tight gas projects. Overall he has contributed to more than 30 field development plans. He has also worked as an operational petrophysicist in both the exploration and development phases of a field’s life, serving as the lead petrophysicist in Shell for tight gas exploration in Saudi Arabia, and as an operational petrophysicist in Oman looking after two major fields. His previous experience as a Drilling Engineer and Logging Engineer developed communication and leadership skills that he has brought to bear in planning and executing critical operations in deep tight sour gas wells.
Waleed graduated from Sultan Qaboos University with a B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering.
Halah serves as Head of the Business Development Unit at maisam architects & engineers. She is also an associate partner at the firm. Halah’s job embraces a wide range of the strategic, financial and technical aspects of potential architecture projects. She delivers on project analysis and scope of work, schedule design, budgeting and pricing. Working closely with clients, she is responsible for servicing existing agreements while forging relationships with outsource partners and international donors. Before joining maisam, she was the Project Management Officer for Bitar Architects. Earlier in her career she was Project Coordinator for the Jordanian contracting company CEEC.
Halah obtained a B.A. in civil engineering at the University of Jordan after attending the Jubilee School in Amman. Her M.Sc. in project management is from the same university’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology. She also taught as a TA at the faculty.
Youssef Soliman is Finance and Strategy Officer at Lead Foundation, a leading Egyptian microfinance NGO. At Lead he has been responsible for ownership of business planning, capital and operational budgeting, forecasting, asset-liability and liquidity management for a portfolio serving more than 190,000 of the poorest Egyptians. He also started and helps manage the assets of his family’s Waqf (charitable endowment), together with his uncle for the present. Previously Youssef worked for three years in New York with Goldman Sachs as an analyst, first with the Fixed Income – Residential Mortgage Conduit, and later in Equities – European Shares Sales. Youssef began his career path as an associate economist at Moody’s Analytics in Philadelphia.
Youssef gained his B.A. in economics at Swarthmore College. He is an avid soccer player and accomplished in squash.
Joe is Project Manager for Monitor Group Dubai. Leading consultant teams throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, Joe’s projects have included developing strategic initiatives for the Kuwait 2035 development plan, promoting investment strategies in Iraq, negotiating a free coastal zone in Vietnam, and reorganizing a former PM’s office in Jordan. In 2010 Joe was seconded to be Advisor to the CEO of Modern Group, a multimillion dollar investment company based in Saudi Arabia. In the same year, Joe founded his own company, Success Partners International, which provides translation services to multinational companies in the Middle East and North Africa. He is also the co-founder of the Lebanese Association for Social and Economic Development, a non-profit organization providing pro-bono business advisory services to public institutions and NGOs across Lebanon.
Joe holds degree in electrical and computer engineering from the American University of Beirut. He has participated in several world-record breaking events with the Guinness Book of Records, including Greatest Number of People Walking Together (Barcelona, 2007) and Biggest Hummus Plate (10,452 kg, Lebanon, 2010
Obay works Central Region Projects Sales Manager, based in Riyadh, for National Marketing Est. Co, a leading Gulf company for pipes and fittings. He is responsible for sales in the capital and six other Saudi cities; his job also requires him to travel to remote areas of the Kingdom. Obay covers key projects from design stage to delivery, after which he may also lead technical seminars and installation and execution courses. He started at the company as Senior Business Development Officer, later rising to become the Mega Projects Sales Manager. Before moving to Riyadh, he worked with Siemens in Damascus, where coordinated links between head office and the project site of a combined cycle power plant.
Obay obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing management from the American University of Beirut. He is a fan of camping, scuba diving, and adventure generally.
Khadeeja works as Manager of the Business Centers Department for Emirates Transport (ET) in Dubai. This is a new department, established to support 18 business units and increase their productivity on the basis of performance indicators. Additionally, her department’s objectives include increasing the diversification of investment areas, the introduction of new services, and enhancing the confidence of customers. Before this, Khadeeja was handling business development, marketing and pricing for ET. However, her background is in costing and management. She originally joined the company in the Finance Department, where she rose to become head of the costing section.
Khadeeja is a highly trained professional with a specialization in accounting and administration, and financial expertise. She has completed many courses and training programs in the areas of marketing and management, effective management of financial resources, auditing and intelligent cost reduction.
Talal is employed as Deputy General Manager at Al Hayat Building Materials Company in Jeddah. It is the largest distributor in Saudi Arabia of items such as chrome fixtures, brass valves and cast-iron manhole covers. Talal exercises administrative, budgetary and quality-control oversight of the operation. He is also responsible for training employees on the managerial level, monitoring warehouse operations, and providing regular Management Information System reports. Earlier he was Projects and Retail Division Manager at the same firm. In this capacity he developed strategies, sales plans and profit targets for upper management. Moreover, he was active in maintaining and improving business relations with all customers of the division.
Talal is a graduate of the American University of Sharjah. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing and management.
Khalid serves as COO and HR Manager at Weqaya Takaful for Insurance and Reinsurance in Riyadh. As head of the Operations Department, he oversees human capital, information technology and business services. In these capacities respectively he has created a development plan for staff, built a Data Center, and established modernized regional offices to market to retail and corporate clients. Previously, as the company’s Marketing Manager, he focused on formulating its corporate identity via logo, slogans, brochures, and other methods. He was also Marketing Manager for Najm for Insurance Services, introducing a new company emerging into the market for motor insurance services.
Khalid was educated at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. He gained his B.S. from the university’s Industrial Management College with a concentration in marketing.
Hind is a Branch Manager at Bank Audi in Beirut – the youngest branch manager in the Bank Audi Sal-Audi Saradar Group. Bank Audi is the largest banking group in Lebanon. In her ten years with the bank, Hind started as a teller and climbed the ladder to her present position, via jobs in customer service. Prior to joining Bank Audi, she was an administrator at SADCO, a leading Lebanese pharmaceuticals distributor, and at Al-Hiwar newspaper. Her career also included time with S.G.L.I. CO, a Lebanese general company for commercial investment, dealing with household goods in the LC department.
Hind earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Lebanese American University. She holds an MBA from the same institution.”
Abdullah is General Manager of Rzm Holding in Riyadh. The company was established in 2009 and is building its reputation in the market under his leadership. He is responsible for making the key management decisions respecting an investment portfolio extending into many different sectors and operations. Abdullah was previously Sales Representatives and later Marketing Manager for Adaptive TechSoft in Riyadh, an IT company specializing in the education and health sectors. His earlier business experience includes research and fund manager positions at Jazeera Asset Management and Naeem Asset Management. Today he is a partner and Board Member of Jazeera Asset Management, Al-Rowad Educational Company, and Al-Osrah Hospital.
In terms of education, Abdullah owes his managerial style and thinking primarily to his father. In addition, he holds B.Sc. in business management from King Saud University. In 2010 he completed the Saudi Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Program in Oxford, UK.
Lama is the founder and managing director of JumpStart Preschool. Owning and managing her own school for 2-4 year-olds had been a long-term dream when she founded it in 2000. She gained experience in working with special needs children as a Kindergarten Teacher in Amman National School, shadowing and preparing programs for them to develop motor skills and cultivate their confidence. Earlier she worked at the Little Feet Nursery, one of the most renowned pre-schools in Amman, originally as an Arabic language teacher, but becoming the nursery manager handling employees, personnel, students’ enrollment, registration, events and programs. She also spent two years as a private tutor for an autistic child doing one-on-one play therapy.
Lama holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Jordan. She has been active in the British Council’s “Women at Work” shadowing program connecting Jordanian and British professionals, and worked with young Jordanians through Injaz’s Business Leaders Campaign.
