Having obtained a BA in English language and Education as well as an MA in applied linguistics provided Saad with a solid foundation and background in the field of education and English language teaching. Moreover, the vast experience, which accumulated over the past twelve years of teaching, has further enhanced his professional and personal skills. This was also consolidated with a PhD in linguistics (majoring in computational assessment and psychometrics) which enriches his educational expertise. Saad also has a broad knowledge and expertise in IT and computing as a result of gaining almost 25 years of personal experience of developing, using, implementing, and maintaining IT systems both in his personal and professional life and has attended several courses and workshops in different IT fields. Recently, Saad finished EMBA in business Administration from KFUPM.
Mohammed is an intrapreneur at Vodafone Egypt, where he has been exploring new frontiers for the company since 2008. He launched and leads "Vodafone Ventures Egypt", Vodafone’s VC arm, to support and harness the local tech startup ecosystem. Mohammed is passionate about entrepreneurship in Egypt, with a mobile-centric bias. Previously, played a role in the advancement of mobile data in Egypt, by creating Vodafone's mobile Internet unit, and driving it to market-leading success by launching data plans, smartphones, apps, and digital platforms.
An entrepreneur at heart, Mohammed acquired 10 years of local Internet industry knowhow as an entrepreneur, and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Cairo University.
Rabih is a Management and Decision Consultant with experience in statistical analysis, data mining and analytics, business analysis as well as strategy formulation and evaluation. Since 2012, He has been working on Labour Economics projects, focusing on the design and structuring of public sector labour market incentives and subsidy programs; segmentation of beneficiaries of unemployment benefits and designing training and placement programs for each segment; as well as the analysis of labour market trends and formulation of strategies that lead to job creation and participation in the private sector. Rabih also played a vital role in helping a major Oil and Gas company in developing a scenario-based decision support system to evaluate and prioritize corporate investments. Previously, Rabih was a Senior Researcher at the National Bank of Kuwait, where he worked closely with senior executives and management consultants on formulating, evaluating and implementing strategies for the bank and its regional subsidiaries. That experience equipped him with a rich knowledge in several markets across the MENA region.
While fulfilling the requirements for his MBA, Rabih also worked on various consulting projects for a Non-Governmental Organization, a regional Private Bank, and a regional airline company on Optimal Location & Operations, Customer Segmentation as well as Pricing and Revenue Optimization respectively. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics with a minor in Economics and a Master in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
Salem Dabbous has been the Deputy General Manager Assistant at al-Hayat Building Materials Company –IKK group since October 2014 till present. He has been living and working in Saudi Arabia for 12 years and has been working in sales for 20 years. Salem has sales experience in different domains, but spent most of his career working in the vending machines business - 10 years in Lebanon and 10 years in Saudi Arabia. Now, he mainly supervises the wholesale department at Al-Hayat Company following up and improving all the daily work flow.
Salem travels all the time, visiting and following up on the 21 branches that the company has all around Saudi Arabiya. His role in Al Hayat Company is to keep the wholesales department running smoothly and solve as many problems as possible in order to keep their costumers satisfied. Salem also works on improving the sales strategies in the whole sales department based on the market fluctuation.
Salem has a Master’s degree in anthropology from the Lebanese university in Beirut.
He played soccer for more than 20 years; but nowadays he only watch games on TV and is a big fan of Real Madrid. He has a deep relation with the sea and loves fishing, history and always digs for the truth.
His family is his life and always works to keep them smiling. He has had a non-ending battle with diet for 10 years and is always the loser.
Mohamed is the Technical and Planning Manager at Consukorra, an electro-mechanical contractor in Egypt. Mohamed is responsible for leading all technical issues and the procurement of local and imported equipment. Mohamed is responsible for preparing reports related to cash flow, project scheduling and risk management. He is a member of the executive committee and he is involved in value added strategy and the EBIT for the company. Mohamed has been working for Consukorra since 2008 and now leads over 25 persons.
Mohamed graduated from the Cairo University 2005, Faculty of engineering in Mechanical power engineering after studying at Al Urman School in Cairo.

Farah graduated from Sultan Qaboos University in 2005 with BSc Electrical Engineering (telecommunication and Signal Processing). Then she joined Petroleum Development of Oman L.L.C as a reservoir engineer in which is engaged efficiently, responsibly and safely in the exploration, production, development, storage and transportation of hydrocarbons in the Sultanate of Oman. For over 10 years, she has been combining both study and operational methods and skills in order to deliver projects and daily production to PDO. Farah has been exposed to leadership roles through her involvement in different projects such as: MLN Look back Study focal point (VAR5), Lekhwair cluster ARPR focal point, Lean Practitioner for North: WF Res OE Project, Ush Focal Point: WRM Role and Ufuq development optimization Study focal point.
She is a key founder and active member of the first women’s network in PDO, with a mission to help women through events and network lunches. The network members have the opportunity to meet their peers, senior leaders from in- and outside PDO and engage in relevant issues. Farah enjoys reading, travelling and delivering through others.
Khalid is an Investment Manager for the Oman Investment Fund (OIF). The fund is an investment vehicle for the Government of Oman with the objective of building a diversified portfolio of investments in the production and services sectors and other related fields. Khalid joined OIF in 2009 and is a member of the Emerging Sector team that looks after a number of sectors including financials, technology, healthcare, education and retail. He currently manages a number of OIF’s investments and projects including the Medical City project. The Medical City is a multibillion project that is currently under development. It will comprise of a large tertiary hospital with over 1100 beds, a health college, a residential area and other facilities and businesses that are required for a project of this scale.
Prior to OIF, Khalid worked for Gulf Investment Services, a leading listed investment banking service company in Oman. He worked in the Corporate Advisory department and was in charge of managing public offering, developing feasibility reports, providing M&A advisory services and other specialized assignments. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a bachelor of Commerce from the Sultan Qaboos University. Khalid is married and has one son.
Nabil is currently working at HSBC UAE, with an undergrad background in Political Science. His current focus is to gain experience from the financial industry to gain a better understanding of the commercial climate within the region, and then to eventually align that experience with either social entrepreneurial development or social economic development. Both of which must be regionally specific. Moreover, Nabil wishes to enhance his technical ability by completing further studies while working, which is to be achieved in the near future hopefully.
Mostafa has been the Area Sales Manager at Consukorra since 2010. He is responsible for meeting the company targets (Financial and non- financial) for Turnkey Electromechanical works, HITACHI appliances, for Central Air conditioning systems and MITSUBISHI heavy industries for Electrical generator sets. Mostafa’s track record is testament to his success achieving total sales increases of 1.4 Million EGP in 2010 and increasing every year to reach total sales of 144.8 Million EGP in 2014. He has also been responsible for penetrating the HVAC market with a new product (VRF A/C) in 2011 achieving more than 14,000,000 sales over 3 years and helping to penetrate the Market with Screw chillers by selling 7 units in the first year in 2012. He also identified and approached a new multi-national industrial customer turning them to a key account generating around 21.5 Million over 2 years in 2014.
Mostafa has launched successful marketing campaigns, for Consukorra’s customers and consultants accompanying them to several ‘awareness trips’ to the company’s manufacturing factories in Japan (7 times) and Spain twice.
Mohammed is the Senior Manager HR Career Planning at Omantel. He received his BSc in Management from Sultan Qaboos University. He is also qualified as associate member from CIPD (Chartered Institution of Personnel and Development). Mohammed was awarded in 2014 as one of the youngest leaders in Oman (Business Professional Award 2014). He started his career in Ministry of Justice in Court Staff Affairs. Mohammed then decided it was time to move to the private sector, where he started as HR assistant Manager at Al-Maha Petroleum.
After more than 3 years, he joined Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) as HR Manager where he was also had regional assignments for PWC offices. Mohammed has a total of 14 years’ experience in Human Resources, mainly in career development, performance management and talent management.
Bader is a Maintenance Manager of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), a regional joint venture petrochemical complex operating in Bahrain where he directs planning, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and support activities in the Complex. Bader is also an active member on a number of academic advisory boards in several Bahraini universities including the University of Bahrain and AMA University bringing a real world view to academic settings. He is also a member of the Saudi Basic Industries Company’s Maintenance Network Committee and a number of internal company committees. Since graduating as a Mechanical Engineer in 1996, Bader spent the last 20 years of his life perfecting his trade, speaking extensively on both the national and international level and bringing the company’s innovative approach to plant maintenance to the public as he progressed through the ranks of the company from a mechanical supervisor, to Senior Planning engineer, to planning superintendent before reaching his current post as maintenance manager where he oversees the effective maintenance of the four active plants in the GPIC complex.
During his tenure with the company, Bader has interacted with hundreds of different firms and professionals in the fields of Maintenance and Petrochemicals through conferences, workshops and management presentations and has been regularly recognized for his leadership skills and sound management decisions. Bader enjoys spending time with his family as well as fishing and diving off the coast of the Kingdom.
Yaseen is a Holder of a BSc in Chemistry from The American University in Cairo. He held managerial and technical roles in local and international companies including Edita Food Industries and ExxonMobil Egypt. His exposure to successfully operating companies and his experience within the energy sector have prepared him to bring his dream to life through founding SolarizEgypt in 2013, where he currently holds the position of Managing Director. Yaseen dedicates his time and effort to ensuring that Egypt realizes its full potential through achieving energy independence and ultimately become an energy exporter.
Shabib is the Head of Business Planning for the North asset in Petroleum development Oman, based in Muscat. Shabib joined PDO as reservoir engineer in 2006 and worked as reservoir engineer looking at water flood management in Yibal cluster and prior that he worked in the study centre for Yibal Khuff project. He has also worked as lean practitioner for water flood process and many other projects.
Shabib holds a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Nottingham University and a Master’s degrees in petroleum engineering from Heriot -Watt University, Edinburgh.
Ghaith has worked in The Royal Hashemite Court for the past nine years. Originally he worked for Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah as a Community Outreach Senior Officer, where he concentrated on developing and improving health and education in Jordan. Furthermore, and through Her Majesty’s international and domestic initiatives his role included community development, poverty elevation and employability. In April 2012 he joined the Political Affairs Directorate in the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah II as a Policy Analyst. In this role Ghaith has been involved with the development and achievements of the State’s constitutional authorities that include the government, parliament, the judiciary and the constitutional court. In his capacity he tries to maintain the vital link between His Majesty and the Jordanian people by suggesting and developing ideas for programs that fall within the Office's scope translating His Majesty’s progressive vision for Jordan; based on political openness, rule of law, economic and social development and the values of peace and tolerance.
Ghaith has both a LL.B. in Law and M.A in Conflict Resolution (focusing on the Arab Israeli conflict, Turkey and the Balkans) from the University of Jordan. He recently obtained his MSc. in Public Policy from University College London – UCL, focusing on the reform of public and legislative institutions.
Zaid is an experienced, dynamic and highly skilled professional with wide experience in blue chip corporate environments, telecommunication and banking. Zaid has a proven record of conceptualizing and implementing projects. He is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and possesses a keen competitive spirit for growing a business. With over 7 years of experience in the Banking industry specifically in Retail and Electronic Banking Zaid has contributed heavily in implementing programs that have improved the services provided and offered by BankDhofar. His notable work include revamping of credit policies, credit review and approval processes, analysis of retail credit portfolios and the introduction of technology in the simplification of credit review. He has also established BankDhofar’s Electronic Banking unit and oversaw the implementation of the bank’s Internet Banking and the award winning Mobile Banking service. During his 7 years with BankDhofar Zaid has covered every area of Retail Banking including branch management.
Lama has 14 years of business experience in brand management and business consulting. She has extensive experience working for Fortune 100 FMCG companies, both headquarters and distributors out of New York, Dubai and Amman including L’Oreal, Procter and Gamble, Nestle and Pfizer. Lama’s experience includes leading a multifunctional team to manage and run a multi-million dollar marketing budget for pan-Arab and pan-Gulf billion dollar brands. Lama is currently a Business Consultant for a Jordan and UAE based architecture firm Maisam Architects and Engineers. Her scope of work currently entails opening new markets and new businesses for the firm. She a co-author of a book to be published: Maisam Architects and Engineers – selected projects.
Lama is also a real estate investment consultant, setting up a regional real estate investment fund for private investors. Her investment portfolio includes assets in the United States and the United Kingdom. Lama has been married for 7 years, and the couple live in Amman with their two boys Kareem(3) and Layth (1.5). Lama holds a BSc. in Finance and Economics from Babson College and an MBA with distinction from London Business School. Lama enjoys travelling, painting, baking and doing crafts and reading to her children.
Ihab is the Managing Partner at Yasser Barakat Gallery and co-founder of Jeel by Yasser Barakat and Native Naseej. His knowledge and acquired experience from his family owned business for antiquities and artefacts in the Old City of Jerusalem along with his higher Marketing education has shaped his focus in creating Palestinian Brands that aim to grow locally and internationally. Ihab worked at several Palestinian entities including the Palestine Trade Centre - Paltrade, Sky advertising and DAI Palestine. His Master’s degree in Marketing Communication from the University of Westminster London was a pivotal point for his career focus. Ihab decided to focus on developing marketing activities for different projects such as the women business forum and more time was given to the family business to grow and develop strong Arab Palestinian Brands and business in Jerusalem. His family business was established in 1905 and continued by his father in 1972 and Ihab aims to sustain the legacy with a bigger focus. Ihab is also involved in marketing CYSTACK, an information security company founded by a family member in Ramallah – Palestine.
Ihab is now developing his own design House Jeel that was inspired by the embroidery work that the Yasser Barakat gallery owns. Jeel produces unique Art pieces and innovates aesthetic elements that integrate the old with the new while still preserving the soul of the embroidery.

Mo’men is the Managing Director of Palestine Gardens Company and a Board Member of Sinokrot Global Group. Upon his return from the UK in 2013, Mo’men has developed the company to become one of the largest export hubs of agricultural products from the Jordan Valley leveraging on his wide network of industry contacts and previous experience. During his stay in the UK, Mo’men gained remarkable knowledge through working at one of the world largest retail companies; Tesco, as a Technical Assistant in the Commercial Department for Fresh Food. Mo’men graduated with BSc Honours Agricultural Engineering with Marketing and Management from Harper Adams University and was awarded the best student prize of the course. He then continued his studies with a Master’s degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at one of the leading world universities; Imperial College London. During the course he co-founded an entrepreneurial project that provides online users a full touristic and shopping tours in 3D inside the Old City of Jerusalem. Wadie is an International Business Postgraduate holder with nine years of work experience in key business development institutions in Jordan. Wadie completed his bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Studies from Concordia University-Canada in 2007 and secured his first job in Jordan with Aramex international working in Customer Relation Management and Finance. In 2010, he moved to the King Abdullah II Fund for Development working as a Senior Program Officer. During his time there, Wadie gained extensive knowledge in areas such as project management, fundraising, and public relations. His main duties focused on creating opportunities for Jordanian youth to prosper in different social, entrepreneurial, educational ventures. Wadie successfully executed capacity building programs both on the local and International level with institutions such as the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst and Harvard Kennedy School.
In 2013, he was granted a full scholarship from Chevening (Common Wealth office –UK) to pursue a master’s degree in the UK. He moved to London and joined Brunel University where he managed to graduate the year after with Distinction in International Business. In March 2015, he joined Capital Bank (CB) working as a Project Manager for various transformational projects such as the ATM, mobile & Internet banking projects. Major achievements with CB include installing state of the art ATM’s with modern functionality and services first of its kind in Jordan. Rasha is the Procurement Manager at Zeeneh Contracting Co., co-founder and designer of Saray Accessories, co-founder and General Manager at Kingdom Dates Co. (KDC), trainer with NGO programs involving recruitment for Palestinian Women. Rasha holds a BA degree interior design certificate and is an MBA candidate 2016/2017. Establishing new pioneering business opportunity is one major station in her vision, and this is where KDC has seen light in 2014; the factory of KDC will be constructed at Jericho Agro Industrial Park- Jericho. Looking always for “adding-value” ideas to develop and enhance professional career, sharing experiences with foreign expertise regarding her new business to spread internationally qualitative products. She is always motivated to find and stand up for new ideas and achievements. Rasha consults local women about home decorations and engages with women to develop their own businesses using small handmade pieces and traditional Palestinian food giveaways for tourists. Asma is a holder of an MBA degree from the University of Bath in England and has over 8 years of experience in management, business development, capacity building in addition to planning and execution. Asma has a diversified experience in the MENA region working in various positions where she has polished and advanced her skills in areas relevant to managing training solutions for various branch offices, in-depth assessment for management operations for organizations as well as market research and analysis.
Asma was shortlisted for the prestigious UK award of Women of the Future MBA category in 2010. Nomination was based on candidate’s experiences, challenges they have overcome, and the demonstrated potential to contribute to human prosperity and economic development in their societies.
Ali is the Project Manager of the AJWT Training since 2013. (AJWT) is Al Jazeera Workplace Transformation project, which will transfer the Network's Channels in Doha to a new era of broadcast workflow & technologies in an integrated work environment. Ali is responsible for managing and delivering all in-house training of media workflow & technical courses planned by the project. Prior to this, he worked at the Newsgathering and Operations Dep. at Al Jazeera Channel 1998-2004, then became the Head of Newsgathering and Operations 2004-2013, his role to manage the logistic support for Al Jazeera bureaus and correspondents worldwide, manage satellite operations, control exclusive photo’s copyright, contract business and collaboration agreements between Al Jazeera and the other news agencies and news channels.
Ali was also the founder and general manager of Gulf Media Company which provides media services and consultations. He is also a Trainer and the founder of ALKAABI CENTER for Training & Consultancy.
Ali holds two Diploma Degrees in Art and Public Administration from Community College in Qatar (CCQ), studying Bachelor Degree in Public Administration at CCQ, studied Mechanical Engineering at Qatar University, and had many professional Media courses in TV Presenting, Media Planning & Management, and other courses in Al Jazeera Media Training Center and other training institutes. Hashem is currently working as Senior Project Manager at TABCo, an innovative restaurant management company located in Kuwait. Established in 2010, TABCo is in the business of offering clean food alternative to our community by raising awareness on the environment we live in and the choice one has when eating out. His career first started in the Banking industry after a Master of Finance but his drive to create and to solve problems pushed him towards entrepreneurship. In 2012 Hashem launched HRK, an innovative property maintenance company with preventive and corrective HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Duct Cleaning services for both residential and commercial facilities. HRK received the Best Small Project Award in Kuwait in 2013.

Bader graduated as a mechanical engineer from Qatar University, he joined Shell in 2009 as a close out manager for Pearle GTL project, previous to that he worked as a Manager for Electricity & Water Production Project in KAHRAMAA. He is currently the Director of TAFAWOQ, a world class sustainable Project Management Centre of Excellence in Qatar. As part of their support of the Qatar National Vision 2030, Qatar Petroleum, Hamad Bin Khalifa University and Qatar Shell, in partnership, have committed to provide the State of Qatar with a Centre for competence development in project management of capital projects and associated supply chain. TAFAWOQ seeks to develop the competence of project management professionals through an integrated approach.

Hessa is an ambitious woman from Kuwait who began devoting her time and effort to an NGO committed to youth development and volunteering opportunities in many areas. Inspired by the local youth’s entrepreneurial determination when she was just a student at Kuwait University, Hessa set in motion the growth of a digital marketing start-up that grew from 4 employees, to 40+ employees by the time she left to seek a greater challenge. Hessa joined TABCo Food as a digital marketing manager in September 2014; TABCo is a start-up that holds the franchise rights and operates one of the most popular restaurants in Kuwait, it is also heavily invested in social causes, which is what attracted her to grab this opportunity.

Jawaher is the Program Manager at Al Dhameen and joined Qatar Development Bank in 2011. Jawaher holds over a decade of experience in retail banking, previously holding managerial positions at Commercial Bank of Qatar and the International Bank of Qatar. Hussain has been working at the National Bank of Kuwait for almost 10 years. Currently holding a managerial position in the area of foreign exchange and trading currencies. Got his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from California State University at Long Beach in 2001. Eng. Khalid has a proven executive management and an Engineering expert with more than 23 years successful experience in design, construction, project management, strategic planning, business development and most especially in organizing Engineering workshops/conferences, only to prove that he truly deserved to be the recipient of his many leadership awards. In 2011, Eng. Khalid was the former Strategic Advisor in the Group CEO Office for three years from being their General Manager of Barwa Real Estate Company. Last 2005, he joined the Public Works Authority (ASHGHAL)as a Project Coordinator then promoted as the Head of Sewage Networks. Eng. Al-Nasr started his career with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (formerly known as Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture) as the Secretary of Local Tender Committee.

Nawaf is a Project Engineer working for Royal Dutch Shell, one of the biggest multinational conglomerates in the world. Nawaf received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2009. He spent a year in Terneuzen, Netherlands interning for Dow Benelux where he was involved in High Voltage substation maintenance and enhancement. He joined Royal Dutch Shell as a Process Automation, Controls, and Optimization Engineer in 2010. His first assignment was in Sur, Oman where he worked in maintenance for 18 months on a Liquefied Natural Gas plant. After that he moved into front end engineering design in Sharjah, UAE working on one of the biggest and most challenging flagship projects for Kuwait. In the following year Nawaf moved with the project to the UK for the next stages of design. Looking for a new challenge and further development, Nawaf switched to Project Engineering, where he currently administers 100+ engineers and their production. At the moment he is in the process of overseeing the completion of the final stages of front end design.

In the bank he worked 8 months in the Call centre and 2 year and 4 months as a teller in the branches. He has worked in Global investment house for 7 months as an Assistant Broker in the brokerage department and he was an Executer for clients’ portfolio in the stock market in MENA region. Omar also worked in a media production company as a Project manager and his role was meeting the clients and delivering the ideas. During the period of 18 months he has executed and delivered more than 12 projects in advertisements, documentaries and events. He worked in an agricultural project management company as a Business Development Manager for 7 months.

Ahmed is a passionate traveller who also happens to own and run his own Ecotourism business named: “ECO”. Before starting his current business. Ahmed enjoyed a diversified career, from being an architect in 1998 for 2 years, then studying and working in Computer science, Facilitation, training & development, and finally 8 years of Marketing & Strategies inside Vodafone Egypt! When he isn’t glued to his corporate life, he spends time volunteering with national & International organizations like: CARE, Racing The Planet, Characters Of Egypt and more.
Going through the Master degree of “Cultural Heritage Management” in UFE, was a life changing experience for Ahmed, it inspired him to quit corporate life and start his own new business in Ecotourism. Now he feels that he is really living his passion.
Rouba is the Head of Corporate Communication at Byblos Bank, one of Lebanon's top three banks with presence in eleven other countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Rouba oversees brand, financial and internal communication at the Bank. She also spearheads its corporate social responsibility initiatives, many of which received remarkable recognitions, including the award for the Cedar Reforestation campaign, the establishment of the Byblos Bank Award for Photography, and the launch of Lebanon's first fully fledged Financial Literacy program. In addition, she supervises corporate literature, manages relations with the media, and ensures comprehensive event management for nation-wide events. Rouba holds a Master's degree in Information and Communication from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. The three years and a half she spent in Bahrain (2006-2009) and the numerous travels she did helped her build friendships all over the world. She deeply cares for the environment, has a privileged relationship with nature and is a regular hiker who pledged herself for having done most of Lebanon on foot. Books are her best friend and she enjoys reading in Arabic, English and French.
