Delivery Policy & Method
Last updated: 11 May 2026
Mela for Training and Education Activities (the “Mela Network”) delivers leadership development, training, and community services to mid-career business leaders across 14 Arab countries and a wider global network. Mela does not ship any physical goods. This Delivery Policy describes how and when Mela’s services are delivered following a successful payment, so that members, Masterclass participants, and event registrants know exactly what to expect.
1. Nature of Mela’s Services
Leadership Masterclass — a 10-day in-person flagship program held at a rotating host country (recent editions include Muscat, Oman and Tunisia). Delivered in person at a confirmed venue chosen by Mela.
Annual Membership — an annual digital and community service granting access to the Global Network App, the member database, member-only resources, chapter activities, and Mela events at member rates.
Chapter Events & Anniversary Reunions — delivered in person at venues across the 14 Mela countries, or online when announced as such.
Alumni Status — an ongoing free service for Masterclass graduates who do not renew membership, granting limited benefits as described on the Member Benefits page.
2. Delivery Method
All service-delivery communications are sent by email to the address on file in the applicant or member record. Joining instructions, login credentials, and event materials are delivered electronically. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the email address provided is accurate and that emails from @melanetwork.org are not blocked by spam filters or corporate firewalls.
3. Masterclass — Delivery Timeline
Application acknowledgement: within 3 business days of submission.
Selection Committee decision: communicated by email, typically within 4 to 8 weeks of the application close date.
Seat confirmation: issued by email within 3 business days of receiving the Masterclass fee.
Pre-Masterclass joining pack: agenda, venue and accommodation details, packing list, dress code, optional reading, and travel guidance — sent at least 21 days before the Masterclass start date.
Final logistics update: sent 3 days before the start date.
On-site delivery: 10 days of programming, accommodation, and most meals at the announced venue.
Post-Masterclass: alumni certificate, learning-group evaluations, and instructions for activating annual membership are sent within 14 days of program close.
4. Annual Membership — Delivery Timeline
Upon receipt and verification of the USD 260 membership payment, your membership is activated and a welcome email is sent to the address on file, normally within 1 to 3 business days. The welcome email contains:
Confirmation of your membership status and the validity period (12 months).
Login credentials and instructions for the Global Network App, member database, and member-only resources.
Your local chapter contact and upcoming chapter activities.
Information on Mela reunions, Masterclasses, and partner opportunities.
5. Chapter & Reunion Events — Delivery Timeline
Registration confirmation: within 1 to 3 business days of payment.
Joining instructions (venue, schedule, dress code, online link if applicable, materials): sent at least 3 days before the event start date.
Travel and visa support letters are issued on request, normally within 5 business days.
6. Non-Delivery or Delayed Delivery
If you have not received your activation email, registration confirmation, or pre-event joining pack within the timelines above — or within 5 business days of payment for the relevant service — please contact info@melanetwork.org with your transaction reference. We will investigate and respond within 2 business days.
7. What Mela Does Not Deliver
Mela does not arrange or sell international travel, visa services, personal insurance, or accommodation outside the official Masterclass package. Where Mela provides a visa-support letter or hotel-block code, it does so as a courtesy and not as a travel agent.
8. Accepted Payment Methods
Mela accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard, and international bank transfer to its account at Bank Al Etihad (Jordan), in United States Dollars. All online card transactions are processed through our authorized payment provider over a secure HTTPS connection using TLS 1.2 or higher with SHA-256 cryptography. The legacy TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols are disabled.
